As part of our international expansion, we have recently opened our company VIVAX Hellada in Athens and are now strengthening our local team in Greece.
We are currently looking for a proactive, independent, and certified Senior Accountant with SAP expertise to oversee and manage our financial operations in Greece. In this role, you will take full ownership of accounting processes, including bookkeeping, payroll, statutory reporting, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and authorities.

- Represent the company before auditors, tax authorities, and state institutions.
- Prepare annual work plans and supervise employees to achieve goals.
- Set performance indicators, monitor results, and improve efficiency.
- Manage reporting processes and ensure timely preparation of financial reports (monthly, periodic, annual, consolidated) in line with regulations.
- Monitor accounting and tax legislation and provide guidance for compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors and authorities; consult within area of expertise.
- Support harmonisation of accounting functions across the group.
- Oversee payroll processes and ensure compliance with legal and internal regulations.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Certified Accountant qualification/license is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of local accounting, tax, and financial regulations (mandatory submission of all legal reports; i.e. 347, 349, VAT, CIT)
- SAP experience is mandatory
- Proven track record of delivering quality results on time; ability to make data-driven decisions
- Possibility to currently be a standalone person, this is a hands-on role with a high level of operational involvement, with the expectation that, if the business grows, you will take on responsibility for leading and mentoring a future team
- Hands-on professional, adaptable, responsible, open to feedback, and strong in teamwork
- Excellent organisational and people development skills, with potential to build and mentor a future team
- Skilled in MS Office; experience in distribution industry is a plus
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities; fluent in English
- Category B driving licence
